Biography

Aiasha Siddiqua has joined as a Lecturer in the Department of Apparel Engineering, Faculty of Fashion Design & Apparel Engineering, at Bangladesh University of Textiles (BUTEX) in 2021. Later she was promoted in the post of Assistant Professor in 2024. She was a lecturer in the Department of Textile Engineering at Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) from 2019 to 2020. Besides, she worked in the same post in the departmental project work which is named “Chair for Sustainability and Textile Innovation” at AUST with Giz (https://www.giz.de/en/html/index.html), TUD and Engelbert Strauss. She had Industrial work experience with Hong Kong based Crystal International Group Ltd as a Production Associate at ESBL with PUMA, H&M buyer from 2017 to 2018. Her overall teaching experience is almost 5 years and Industrial experience is almost 2 years. She is also a Certified supply chain analyst (CSCA) from International Supply Chain Education Alliance (ISCEA). Besides these, she had several professional rewards and certificates on REMC with Giz, on leadership with Better work (ILO).
